Shaver Wood Products, Inc., the parent company of Lil' Shavers Wood Shop, was formed in the early 70's as a Southern Pine and Hardwood sawmill by Richard (Jimbo) Shaver. Mr. Shaver and his son, Chad oversee the successful operation of the sawmill still today. An existing facility near the sawmill was purchased in 2010, renovated, and opened as Lil' Shavers Wood Shop in May of 2013. We are a Lumber and Building Materials retailer focused on serving homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, farmers, local industry, re-modelers, and small custom home builders. We stock full lines of lumber, plywood, OSB, plumbing, electrical, flooring, drywall, insulation, hardware, fasteners, tools, lawn & garden, and much more. We are a stocking dealer for many fine brands such as PPG Paints, Cabot Stains, Sikkens Stains, Shaw Flooring, and Troutman Chair. We are also in the unique position of having access to a wide variety of local, high quality hardwoods and softwoods produced by our own sawmill.
